1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is the person behind Pollocrudo Company:

We are a one-person studio, so we have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. We are not required to have one. Please send any privacy question to the privacy contact above.

2. Summary

• This website has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.
• Our fonts and images are served from our own website. Visiting it does not send your data to Google or to social networks.
• If you email us, we use your message only to reply and to handle your request.
• Froggy Fruits works offline, with no accounts, no online requirement and no in-game purchases. The game does not send us any personal data.
• When you buy or play our games on Steam, Valve processes your data under its own privacy policy.
• Soundtrack videos from YouTube only load after you press play. Until then, nothing is sent to YouTube.
• We never sell your personal data.

3. Visiting this website

This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). To deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data sent by your browser with every request:

• your IP address;
• the date and time of the request, and the page or file requested;
• your browser type and version, operating system, language and the referring page.

Purpose: to deliver the website, keep it available and secure, and prevent attacks.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure and working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our use: we do not use this data to identify you and we do not combine it with other data. We use no analytics or visitor-tracking tools.

Links to external websites, such as Steam, take you to services we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

4. Contacting us by email

When you write to support@pollocrudocompany.com or legal@pollocrudocompany.com, we process:

• your email address and name, if you give it;
• the content of your message and any attachments. These may include technical details you choose to share, such as your hardware, operating system, Steam username, screenshots or log files.

Purpose: to answer you, provide player support, investigate bugs, and handle press, business or legal enquiries.
Legal basis: steps you ask us to take and the performance of our relationship with you as a player (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Also our legitimate interest in answering messages and improving our games (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). When you exercise your data protection rights, we must process your request by law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Please do not send us sensitive information, such as health data or ID documents, unless we specifically ask for it to verify a request.

5. Our games

Froggy Fruits is designed to be played fully offline. It has no user accounts, no online requirement, no in-game purchases, and no built-in analytics or advertising. Your progress, settings and unlocks are stored locally on your own device. This data is not sent to us.

If a future game or update adds any feature that processes personal data, such as online play, leaderboards, crash reporting or analytics, we will update this policy before releasing it. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first.

6. Steam and other platforms

Our games are sold and distributed through Steam, which is operated by Valve Corporation. When you wishlist, buy, download or play our games there, Valve is an independent data controller for your Steam account, payment, library, achievements, cloud saves, Remote Play Together, Family Sharing and similar platform features. Please read the Valve Privacy Policy.

As the developer and publisher, we can see statistics that Valve gives developers, such as sales, wishlists, regions and playtime. Where these statistics are aggregated, we cannot identify you from them. We may also see public information that you choose to post on our Steam store page, community hub or discussions, such as reviews and forum posts. We use this information to understand how our games perform and to reply to players.

If our games become available on other stores or platforms in the future, that platform's own privacy policy will apply to your account and purchases there.

7. Embedded YouTube videos

Some pages, such as our Soundtracks page and the game details on the home page, show videos from our YouTube channel, Pollocrudo Company Music. We use a click-to-load player. Until you press play, you only see a preview image hosted on our own website, and your browser makes no connection to YouTube or Google.

When you press play, the video loads from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment, Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) receives your IP address, device and browser details, and information about the video you watched. YouTube may store information on your device, as described in its own policies. If you are signed in to a Google account, Google may link the viewing to that account.

Legal basis: your consent, which you give by pressing play (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 22.2 LSSI). You can simply not press play, or watch the video directly on YouTube instead. More information: Google Privacy Policy.

Links to our YouTube channel and to Steam open those websites, where their own privacy policies apply.

8. Cookies

This website does not use its own cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not store information on your device to profile you. For this reason, we do not show a cookie banner. The embedded YouTube player can store information on your device, but only after you press play (see section 7). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may occasionally set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site against malicious traffic. These cookies are exempt from consent under Article 22.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI). If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

9. Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us run the studio, and only as far as each one needs it:

• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, content delivery and security.
• Our email service provider: to receive, store and send email.
• Google Ireland Limited (YouTube): only if you press play on an embedded video (see section 7).
• GitHub, Inc.: hosts the source code of this website. GitHub does not receive visitor data.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to comply with a court order, or when we need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

10. International transfers

Some of the providers above, Google and Valve are based in the United States or use infrastructure outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Articles 45 and 46 GDPR).

11. How long we keep data

• Technical website data: Cloudflare keeps it only for the short period it needs for delivery and security, under its own retention rules. We do not keep separate copies.
• Emails: while we handle your request. After that, we keep them for up to 2 years so we can follow up on the same issue. We then delete them, unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation or to handle a claim. In that case, we keep them only until the applicable limitation period ends.
• Data protection requests: for up to 3 years, as evidence that we handled your request properly.

12. Children

Our games may be enjoyed by players of all ages, but we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. In Spain, children under 14 cannot consent to the processing of their personal data (Article 7 of Organic Law 3/2018, LOPDGDD). If you are under 14, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to legal@pollocrudocompany.com and we will delete it.

13. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure of your data (the "right to be forgotten").
• Restriction of processing.
• Data portability: receiving your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection to processing that is based on our legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent. This does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
• Not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. We do not make such decisions.

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@pollocrudocompany.com with the subject line "Data protection". Tell us which right you want to exercise. We may ask for extra information to confirm your identity. Exercising your rights is free, and we will reply within one month. For complex requests, we can extend this by up to two more months, as the law allows, and we will tell you if we do.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es. You can also contact the data protection authority in your own EU country. We would appreciate the chance to fix the problem first, so please consider writing to us before you file a complaint.

14. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole website, providers with recognised security certifications, strong authentication on our accounts, and keeping as little personal data as possible. No system is completely secure, but if we ever have a data breach that is likely to put you at risk, we will notify you and the AEPD as the law requires.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our games, our website or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always shows when we last changed it. If we make important changes, we will announce them clearly on this website and, where appropriate, on our Steam pages.
